He combines academic training in finance with more than nine years of experience in software engineering, data-driven applications, and the development of trading platforms for capital markets. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Informatics and a Master’s degree in Economics and Management, and completed his Ph.D. in Finance with a focus on asset performance, risk modelling, and market behaviour during economic shocks.

Professionally, he works as a Software Engineer in capital markets, focusing on frontend architecture and UI delivery for trading platforms in interest rate derivatives and FX. He further expanded his expertise as a Delivery Manager on large transformation projects and as a co-founder of a SaaS platform built on real-time data and modern cloud technologies.

His research focuses primarily on equity markets, active and passive investing, index structure, and the relationship between macroeconomic factors and asset pricing. He specialises in portfolio performance analysis, risk modelling, and the effects of passive capital flows on market dynamics. He is the author and co-author of academic publications in international journals and supervises research projects on equity and FX market investments.
